Frequently Asked QuestionS
Not yet. LevelView Products is a seed-stage company with a working, patent-protected prototype. We are actively seeking partners interested in collaborating to further advance this technology or integrate it into an existing product line
Certainly. The LHS is protected under US Patent #10,962,399; link displayed below.

The LHS is the only hydration pack that provides a real-time display of reservoir fluid levels. It features an integrated LED-based level indicator, with additional components built directly into the reservoir. The reservoir and indicator system can be engineered to fit seamlessly into any pack with a hydration sleeve.
Yes. The indicator has also passed submersion testing. The enclosure is waterproof-rated and the PCB has a water-resistant coating.
Yes. The reservoir was designed to be easily disconnected and removed. Compared to a traditional reservoir, the only additional step in refilling is connecting/disconnecting the wire harness.
Sure. The reservoir has passed submersion testing and the wire harness is waterproof-rated. If dropped in water, upend and gently shake the reservoir. After that, you’re good to go!
In push button mode, the battery will last about 100,000 button pushes. In continuous display mode, it lasts about 40 hours. The battery is USB-C rechargeable and it takes only about 90 minutes for a complete charge.
The level indicator contains both a push button and a slide switch. Use the push button for a quick level check or the switch for continuous display.
Absolutely. All electrical components are waterproof rated, and the LHS has passed 5 seconds of complete submersion testing to simulate being dropped in a body of water.
So users can cut it according to their fit. Gently remove the mouthpiece with small pliers, cut the tube, and re-insert the mouthpiece (A few drops of dish soap works great as a lubricant for the mouthpiece barbs).
Nope. Dishwashers may damage the reservoir components. Hand cleaning the reservoir with a cleaning kit is recommended.
Yes, however wireless connections would significantly increase the cost to manufacture. Also, the current design hides most of the wires so they are not cumbersome.
No. Other electrolyte and juice drinks work just fine. However, hot drinks are not recommended.
